I don’t know who she is today, but I still love her. It’s strange how people change, how time reshapes someone you once thought you knew completely. The person I loved before might not be the same person now. Maybe her dreams have shifted, or her smile hides new stories I haven’t heard. Maybe she walks differently, or her eyes carry a different light. Yet, despite all these changes, the feeling remains.
Love isn’t always about knowing every detail or understanding every thought. Sometimes, it’s about holding on to the connection, even when the familiar fades. It’s about accepting that people grow, sometimes in ways we don’t expect, and still choosing to care deeply. I might not recognize her fully today, but the heart remembers what it felt before. It remembers the laughter, the quiet moments, the shared hopes.
There’s a kind of beauty in loving someone who is a mystery now. It means loving beyond what’s visible, beyond what’s easy. It means loving the idea of her, the essence that remains even when everything else changes. It’s a quiet kind of love, patient and steady, not demanding but simply present.
Maybe one day I’ll understand who she is now. Maybe I’ll learn her new stories and find new reasons to love her. But until then, I hold on to the love I have, even if the person I loved seems different today. Because love isn’t just about knowing—it’s about feeling, trusting, and believing in someone, no matter how much they change.
